Batman Under The Red Hood Review

With the Batman:The Killing Joke out, I thought that maybe I should brush up my DC animated movie history.

Here is my review for Batman Under The Red Hood-

Pros-
The voicing of Red Hood- Jensen Ackles did an amazing job voicing Red Hood. Excluding the age factor, he would have made an awesome live action Jason Todd.

The chase sequence- The chasing of Red Hood by Batman and Nightwing was great to say the least.I absolutely loved the scene where Jason cuts off the wire before it gets entangled with his leg. And Nightwing commenting that he was good was just gold.

Black Mask
The scenes with Black Mask-  Black Mask was a joy to watch. I find him to be a rather underrated Batman villain.  His interaction with the Joker and even his banter with his secretary was fun to watch.
Flashback
Flashbacks- The flashbacks really added a depth to Jason's character and showed off his abilities and skills. The last one actually made a tear up. These further help you to understand their characters and their decisions and actions.

Cons-

Voicing of Batman and Joker- I am not saying that it was bad, its just that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are so iconic that nothing ever comes close to their voice overs.

Overall, this is a really amazing movie. This is a prime example of why Dc animated movies are better than the MCU and DCEU. The whole movie was near perfect, nothing bad can be said about this movie. Even if you are not a fan of DC or Red Hood as a character, you would enjoy the movie.

Definitely a 4.5 stars out of 5.
