The age old battle between Vampires and Werewolves has always been there. Most notable being Team Edward or Team Jacob.

In the TV verse this battle goes on between CW's The Vampire Diaries and MTV's Teen Wolf.The Vampire Diaries follows the love triangle of Elena Gilbert,a human doppelgänger and the Salvatore brothers who are vampires,on the other hand Teen Wolf follows the story of a social outcast Scott McCall who gets bitten by a werewolf.

1.Types of supernatural creatures-
Since both the shows are supernatural dramas various different types of creatures are featured. While in TVD main focus is the vampires, werewolves and the witches. Vampire-werewolf hybrids and witch-werewolf hybrids also exist.
                                                        Meanwhile in TW like the name suggests the main focus is on werewolves, but as the series progressed many different creatures like kanima,nogitsune,Were-coyote,kitsune,hellhound,were-jaguar and banshee were introduced.

So, I think Teen Wolf wins this round due to sheer number of supernatural creatures.

2.Better Villains-
Although TW had some amazing villains in Jackson as Kanima and Void Stiles, TVD has the perfect combination in bad-ass,likeable,and crazy in Katherine,Klaus,Kai respectively.

So, The Vampire Diaries wins this round.

3,Friendships-
Both these shows had some amazing friendships over the years, but I think in TVD Elena's friendship weakened quite a lot due to her romance with the Salvatore brothers, meanwhile in TW Stiles helped Scott quite a lot to become the true alpha he is today.

So, this round is won by Teen Wolf mainly due to Stiles being an awesome friend and like a brother to Scott.

4.Romance-
Although Scott and Allison were the Romeo and Juliet, Stiles and Lydia had amazing development, the chemistry between Elena and Damon as well as Caroline and Klaus were off the charts.

So, the vampires win this round.

5.Acceptance of the LGBTQ Community-
Even though TVD had same sex couples in the later seasons, from its creation in 2011 TW has had open gay and Bisexual characters and couples. Also in TVD they had no important role in the overall plot, while in TW Mason and Corey play important roles.

So hands down,Teen Wolf wins this round.

 How to connect the DC Cinematic Universe and the Arrowverse-

Unlike the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Cinematic universe is not connected with the TV shows. While some find it rather absurd and confusing, I am actually very happy about it.

My main problem with Marvel's Cinematic Universe is that not everyone watches,Agents Of Shield, this may leave them confused if something important happens on the show which changes the course of events in the movies. (This happened in Age Of Ultron)

Now you may be wondering that if the shows and movies are not connected then there will be two sets of actors for the same character, which in turn may become confusing.

Well, I actually have got simple theory on how to connect them while keeping them separated. Sounds crazy?? Its actually very simple.

DC TV Universe

We all know that DC Comics is famous for its use of alternate universes and dimensions. As, in the Flash, they have incorporated this as Earth 1,Earth 2 and so on.

This brings me to my theory-

What if the DC Cinematic Universe was an alternate universe to the Arrowverse? Or Vice versa?
This will help both the TV show lovers and the movie goers as the Universes will be connected without affecting each other's chain of events.And this also leaves the door open for crossovers or 'Vs' movies with both the universes clashing.

In this way both the cinematic universe and the TV verse can be connected without forcing the one on the other.Plus, this will also help both the medium's popularity as fans of only the TV show will watch the movies if their favorite actor is in in it or the other way round.

Theory For A Better Canary Cry

Theory for a better Canary Cry-

For those who don't know, Canary Cry is the the sonic vibrations produced by the Black Canary which can destroy pretty much anything obstructing it.

In the CW Arrow-verse, both the sisters don't actually have the Canary Cry. Sara,the first Black Canary had hand held devices while Laurel the second,has a collar made by Cisco Ramon, from Flash.Although Sara has left to join Rip Hunter as The White Canary, Laurel is still a part of the Arrow team.

However in the New 52 Comics, the Black Canary has the metagene i.e she is a metahuman, which is an important part of the Flash series, considering Barry Allen, the Flash is also a metahuman. Both the teams have worked together, and are very close.So this brings me to my theory for what could have been a better way to introduce Canary Cry in the series.

Theory- Felicity and Barry Allen are very close right?. So Barry could have invited the team for watching the unveil of The Particle Accelerator. And when it malfunctioned Laurel may had been affected by it. Thus, she would have become a metahuman and her Canary Cry could have been easily and smoothly introduced in the series.

P.S Grant Gustin has also revealed that they are following the New 52, so the Black Canary would've been closer to the comics.
