Batman Under The Red Hood Review

With the Batman:The Killing Joke out, I thought that maybe I should brush up my DC animated movie history.

Here is my review for Batman Under The Red Hood-

Pros-
The voicing of Red Hood- Jensen Ackles did an amazing job voicing Red Hood. Excluding the age factor, he would have made an awesome live action Jason Todd.

The chase sequence- The chasing of Red Hood by Batman and Nightwing was great to say the least.I absolutely loved the scene where Jason cuts off the wire before it gets entangled with his leg. And Nightwing commenting that he was good was just gold.

Black Mask
The scenes with Black Mask-  Black Mask was a joy to watch. I find him to be a rather underrated Batman villain.  His interaction with the Joker and even his banter with his secretary was fun to watch.
Flashback
Flashbacks- The flashbacks really added a depth to Jason's character and showed off his abilities and skills. The last one actually made a tear up. These further help you to understand their characters and their decisions and actions.

Cons-

Voicing of Batman and Joker- I am not saying that it was bad, its just that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are so iconic that nothing ever comes close to their voice overs.

Overall, this is a really amazing movie. This is a prime example of why Dc animated movies are better than the MCU and DCEU. The whole movie was near perfect, nothing bad can be said about this movie. Even if you are not a fan of DC or Red Hood as a character, you would enjoy the movie.

Definitely a 4.5 stars out of 5.

Justice League SDCC Trailer Review.

Justice League SDCC Trailer Review-

Along with the Wonder Woman trailer, some new footage of the Justice League was also premiered at the SDCC.

Here is my review-
Justice League
First of all,Aquaman looked awesome.I grew up watching the animated series, and so was not very familiar or fan of him. Jason Momoa looks terrifying, and makes Ben Affleck look so small. The way he man-handled Bruce Wayne was really entertaining.

Flash was interesting. Many were unhappy with Ezra Miller's casting and wanted Grant Gustin. I personally didn't think it was that bad. I thought Ezra Miller did just fine.

I particularly liked Batman and Wonder Woman's interactions and the humor. It was very refreshing.

My main disappointment was Cyborg. His scenes were meh, they weren't bad per say but weren't any special either.
Personally, I would have preferred Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter in place of him. Instead of making him all broody and dark, they could have had him in the Teen Titans. His bromance with Beast Boy on the animated series was gold. This would have pleased the animated series fan.

All in all, the trailer looked good, hopefully in the future Zack Snyder doesn't fuck it up.

Wonder Woman Trailer Review.

Wonder Woman Trailer Review-

So, the Wonder Woman SDCC trailer is out. I know I am a bit late but here is my review.
Wonder Woman
I thought the trailer was amazing.Unlike the previous DC movies, this actually has a pop of color. The color contrast in the beginning and also in the shot of her boots looked absolutely wonderful. The trailer looked vibrant and fresh while maintaining the serious tone of the movie.
The best part of the trailer were the action sequences.Gal Gadot looked fierce. The Amazonians kicked some serious ass.

Over in all,I really enjoyed the trailer and hope the movie delivers.

Predictions For Suicide Squad

Being a DC fan from the Batman The Animated series days, I was a bit disappointed with Batman V Superman:Dawn Of Justice. Don't get me wrong, the movie wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. In my review, I had rated it a 3 out of 5, mainly because of Affleck and Gadot.

Suicide Squad

With the recent Blitz trailer, I am even more excited for Suicide Squad. As, 5th  August approaches.
Here are few of my predictions for the movie-
Slipknot
1. Slipknot will die first- I don't know whether you guys have noticed but, in most of the action sequences Slipknot is missing. Maybe he is the first one to be killed off by Waller, as an example for not following her orders.
Harley Quinn
2.Harley Quinn may betray the squad- One of the main reasons I am saying this is because she is a rather unpredictable character. She is the only one who knows what joker is capable of.If time comes, she may switch sides for a brief time before Joker screws her over and she returns back to the squad.
Batman Vs Joker
3.Batman breaking 'his no kill' rule in BvS will be explained-A lot of DC fans, were very upset to see Batman using arms to kill people. While in comics, Batman uses arms in special circumstances, in the movies nothing was mentioned.I think a Batman Vs Joker face off will shed some light on this matter.

These are a few things that I want to see in the movie-
Assault on Arkham
1.An 'Assault On Arkham' reference- It would make the perfect story for the sequel for the movie and smoothly introduce Riddler in the DCEU. For those who don't know, Batman:Assult on Arkham is an animated movie featuring the squad breaking in Arkham to steal a thumbdrive which is kept in Riddler's cane. I think a subtle credit scene like Nygma fiddling with his cane can easily set up the sequel.
Justice League Dark
2.A Justice League Dark reference/set up- With Enchantress in the movie, magic has been introduced in the DCEU. This could take a step further with the Justice League Dark movie consisting of magicians and sorcerers like Constantine, Zatanna etc. Maybe Waller can send Moore to them, to help her control her powers.

Well, these are my predictions for the movie. The movie looks good so far, but if it fails, DCEU is doomed.
