My Picks For The Next Female Justice League Member

Look, I like Mera but I don't want her to be the next female League member. There are so many better female DC characters, who can bring more diversity to the group.

Here are my picks for next female JL member-

Hawkwoman

Hawkwoman- Chances are that if you have watched the Justice League animated series, you would recognize her . Animated Hawkgirl is based on the Silver Age version of Hawkwoman. Shayera Hol, was a law enforcement officer of the planet Thanagar. She was the wife of Katar Hol A.K.A Hawkman. I chose her because a lot of people who haven't  read the comics will recognize her from the animated series. She is a very strong character, who has mace and isn't afraid to use it. 
                               This can help introduce other aliens and planets and Nth Metal.

Black Canary

Black Canary-  I love Black Canary, she is an amazing character. Arrow completely fucked up her character. She has been traditionally associated with the Justice League for a long time. Her introduction would be the most natural as Batman already has files on Meta-humans. I want her Canary Cry to be done properly. And have her portrayed like the badass fighter she is.
                         She can further help form Birds Of Prey along with Oracle and Huntress.

Zatanna

Zatanna- My final pick is Zatanna. Now, the Justice League has aliens, Demi-gods, Meta-humans, humans, but they don't have anyone related to magic. Zatanna can fill in that place. Her chemistry with Batman would be fun to watch as she knows him quite well. She can spill more details about Gotham and The Bat Family.
                       Also, she can further form the Justice League Dark alongside Constantine.

Ideas For The Solo Batman Movie

Since it has been announced that there will be a solo Batman movie, a few ideas had been spinning in my head. This movie has the potential to be great, Batfleck has said that he wants to include Batman family members. 

Here are few of my ideas for the movie-

1.An Movie based in Arkham City/Asylum-
The Arkham Games are considered one of the best video games based on comics. It is a fan favourite. It shows of Batman's amazing rouge gallery. If you had read my article on Suicide Squad, you may know I would love Batman: Assault on Arkham as the next Suicide Squad movie. This movie could tie in with that one. In the last quarter of the Assault On Arkham movie, there is an Arkham breakout scene. This movie could be a direct sequel, with the rouges taking over Arkham and Batman going in, with Oracle helping him, just like the games.

2. Red Hood Story Arc- This movie can also do the whole Death in The Family story-line or do the live action version of Batman Under The Red Hood. This could easily introduce Red Hood, Nightwing and Ras' Al Ghul, Talia and Black Mask without overdoing it. It could also add depth to Batman's character. Also it could also explain why DCEU Batman uses guns. This movie could bring in an amazing dynamic between Batman and the Bat family. 

3.Hush story arc- I think that Hush is a rather underrated DC villain. He is usually excluded from important Batman franchises and merchandises. Thomas Elliot A.K.A Hush is a very interesting character. He is a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne.His inclusion to the DCEU could shed some light on Bruce's childhood, we have seen his parent's death a bit too many times. Hush is also a very formidable opponent. This can also bring Riddler into the DCEU as their alliance was amazing. Together they manipulated most of Batman's rouges to help them destroy Batman. He has rather unconventional skills and is very different to other comic book villains we have seen.

Justice League Crisis On Two Earths Review

Continuing my reviews for DCAU, here is another,

Justice League Crisis On Two Earths Review-

Pros-

Superwoman

Superwoman- Right off the bat, Superwoman was awesome. Out of all the Crime Syndicate members with the exception of Owlman , she was the most fun to watch. Her scenes with both Owlman and Batman were a joy to watch.Her facing the Justice League members was very entertaining. Overall she was a fun character.

Backup League Members

Backup League members- The backup league members consisted of Aquaman, Black Canary, Firestorm, Red Tornado and Black Lighting. Their action sequences were awesome. They kicked some serious ass.

The Justice League vs Crime Syndicate- The fighting sequence between the Justice League members and their evil counterparts was awesome. Wonder Woman was easily the best out of all them. Her moves and reflexes were awesome. She was a true warrior in every sense.

Owlman Vs Batman

Owlman Vs Batman- Can we talk about how amazing these two were. Although Owlman nearly kicked Batman's ass, they were so much fun to watch. I absolutley loved that Batman knew opening the Portal could kill Flash. This just shows that Batman and Owlman's main strength lies in their intelligence.

Cons-

Rose and Martian Manhunter

Rose and Martian Manhunter- My only problem with this movie was this romance. It wasn't bad per say it was just unnecessary. Due to this, Martian Manhunter's screen time was significantly reduced. He didn't show off his amazing powers.

I absolutely loved the movie. It was very enjoyable. Would love to see a live action version of this movie.

An easy 4 out of 5 stars.

Batman Assault on Arkham Review

Continuing the DC animated movie reviews, the next movie I watched was Batman Assault on Arkham.
Batman Assault on Arkham Review-

Pros-

Opening Sequence- The opening sequence with Riddler, Waller and Batman was amazing. Especially with Waller pinpointing Nygma's location and Batman's fight sequence.

Introduction of the Squad- The various introductions of the different characters of the squad, were awesome. Especially King Shark and Harley's

Amanda Waller

Amanda Waller- Amanda Waller is one badass lady. She was gold to watch.She has made various super-villains be scared of her. Loved how casual she was with killing KGbeast. Her conversations with both Deadshot and Batman were awesome.

King Shark and Killer Frost- I'll admit, King Shark and Killer Frost are not particularly my favorite characters, but their interactions were hilarious to watch.

The whole squad- The whole squad was definitely on point, there weren't too many unnecessary characters like in the live action movie, Harley's costume looked amazing. And their conversations were gold.

Riddler

Riddler- Even though, he doesn't have many scenes, Riddler was a gem to watch. He steals the scenes he's in. I absolutely loved the fact, that the movie showcased his intelligence, with him rightly guessing that Batman exchanged himself with Black Spider.

Appearances of other rouges- Scarecrow,Bane,Two Face, Penguin and Poison Ivy were amazing in their short appearances.

Batman

Batman- Batman as usual was a joy to watch. I love the fact that Batman is shown as a the awesome detective he is in this movie, especially exchanging himself with Black Spider and memorizing the guards shift at Arkham.

Cons-

Deadshot outwitting Joker- Look, I really like Deadshot but I really didn't like the scene where he outwits the Joker. Joker is undoubtedly the most unpredictable character of the DC universe. This makes him look rather stupid and predictable.

 

The last quarter of the movie-  One issue with this movie that I had was with the quarter of the movie. It had too much going on with the Arkham breakout, Joker-Deadshot fight and Harley-Batman fight.

Nevertheless it was a solid watch. I thought that it was a rather enjoyable movie.

I really wish they make a live action version of this movie, maybe as the Suicide Squad sequel.

Definitely a 4 out of 5 stars.
